ImLive has long been considered one of the top adult webcam sites on the Internet and during our review we found out why. Bigger isn’t always necessarily better, but bigger is definitely better here. This site is massive and has so much to offer to its members it’s easy to spend several hours lost amongst its models, archives, features and special events.

The first thing that we were very impressed with was the number of models available for live chats. At the time of this review there were 971 lovely ladies, gents and shemale models waiting to chat live with members of the site. This is a far cry from most other sites, where there are an average 50 - 100 available cam chat hosts.

The site is broken down into similar categories as you'll find on most sites (girl alone, couples, shemales, etc), but they also have an excellent search feature so you can find models by body size, hair or some other criteria.

Free Video Chat

There are a number of models that offer free video chats although not all available models do so. The site does very well in clearly labeling which models are available for this feature, so you won’t feel misled. The models themselves are very pleasant to chat with, seem excited to be a part of the site and aren’t constantly nagging for you to go into a private chat.

Each model has a profile page that allows you to see some free pictures from previous chats as well as purchase some of their recorded live sessions. Each model sets their rate per minute but most we found were in the 1.48 - 2.48 credit range. You can join a model’s fan club and receive a discounted rate or use one of the models promotional codes to receive a discount. Quite a few models were offering free phone sessions when you purchased a 30 minute or 60 minute chat session, which was different than anything we’ve seen at other sites.

The video chat windows are nice and fluid and we did not experience any lagging or problems during our visits. The sound quality is also surprisingly good and it’s great to hear the sexy ladies chat during the sessions. You can choose to use the cam-to-cam feature or disable it if you’re shy or not inclined to use it.

The site has a lot of special events and themes featuring porn stars and adult Internet site stars. If you’ve missed the live event you can always purchase a recording of the session. The site is also big on holiday themes so you’ll be sure to find ladies dressed up in seasonal outfits during the big holidays.

ImLive also offers something called Happy Hour. This is basically a voyeur or group show that you’ll find on other sites, but with a twist. You can join the line of users and become the director of the session for a two-minute period and make requests on behalf of the group. Happy Hour rates are reduced from the regular rates so you’ll save a bit of money as well. There were four or five models available for the Happy Hour chats during our visits.

We’re big fans of this site but probably the biggest selling feature is the pricing. It will cost you $1.00 per credit with the minimum purchase being $25.00. Like previously noted the cam hosts set their own rates with the minimum being $1.48 and the average in the $2.48 area. For $2.48 a minute you’ll get access to private chats with these sexy adult webcam hosts, which is a great value when you look at competing sites. To make things even better a lot of the models will offer discounts if you purchase a 30 minute or 60 minute session.

The only real problem we found with the site is that it is prone to stalling. We suspect this is because it is one of the busiest sites around. This only occurred as we navigated the site and never in the actual chats. This can be frustrating from time to time but you'll quickly be able to recognize when this is occurring.

Overall we were very pleased with ImLive and would definitely recommend it to our readers.
