Streamray Cams claims to be “The Hottest Adult Web Cam Site On The Net” so we thought we’d visit to see if this claim was true or just a marketing feature.

When you first arrive at the site you’ll get a preview of the models available online and you’ll notice the large number available. There were 431 models available for chatting during our visit and one model we chatted with said it is generally in the 500 – 550 area. In order to get into the free chat area you will need to sign up for an account. Membership is free and no credit card is required to preview the chats. There are some limitations to the free membership and you’ll constantly be taken to a screen in order to purchase credits for the site. This becomes rather annoying but quickly disappears as soon as you make a credit purchase.

Each model has a bio page that gives you their basic information as well as a user ratings system. Users can rate each model based on the model’s appearance, whether the model put on a good show, would the user return for another show and the overall rating. The profile also contains thumbnail pictures of the model’s previous shows.

The site uses a Flash theatre, so if you don’t have the most current version of Flash you’ll have to upgrade in order to watch the shows. The theater took about 30 seconds to load initially but is much quickly each subsequent time you use it. The video quality is average when compared to other sites and is quick and fluid. No complaints in this area.

One of the best features of the site would be their search function. This is far and above the best we’ve run into. You can search by model categories (ie girls alone, lesbians, etc), eye colour, age group, fetish, language, race, hair colour, kinky attributes, favourite positions, smoking and astrological sign. It may be a bit overkill but you’ll have no excuse that Streamray Cams doesn’t give you a utility to find what you’re looking for.

Most of the models appeared to be in a studio setting but there were a few others that you couldn’t really tell if they were at home or in a studio. This gives the site a more professional feel to it. The models themselves are above average and quite engaging.

To jump into a private chat you’re going to have to fork out $4.99 per minute, which is on the high end of the webcam pay scale. Unlike other sites these models aren’t stalling to earn more money and will get right to business if that’s what you’re after. We can’t say enough about the models that we ran into as they definitely wanted to please.

If you find a model you’re particularly fond of you can join her fan club for $9.95 per month. This gets you access to pre-recorded videos and tons of photos as well as giving you a discount on your cam shows. This is worth the cost if you think you’re going to have at least a twenty-minute cam session once a month with the model.

Some other things we liked about Streamray Cams:

• the site had a lot of lesbian couples, guy/girl couples, transgender and male models available. This is probably the largest selection of these models that we have run across; and
  
  
• the site offers an easy to setup cam-to-cam feature so the models can see the affect they are having on you.

Overall we enjoyed our visit at Streamray Cams and the only downside would be the cost per minute. The models are stunning and there are such a wide variety of cam hosts available to fulfill your desires. The search function is stellar and the best we’ve seen. You’ll quickly be able to find a model that caters to your whim and the models themselves seem very interested in providing you with a positive experience.

So did Streamray Cams live up to the title of “The Hottest Adult Web Cam Site On The Net”? While not the absolute best we’ve come across it is probably a close second or third.
