If you’re looking for a live adult webcam site, WebCams is pretty easy to remember and probably what you’d type in as a domain while surfing. With such a premium site name and address we had high hopes for this site when we recently visited to conduct a review. We were initially impressed with what we found as the site was well designed, easy to navigate and the initial list of models showed some promise.

The site boasts over 7,000 registered webcam models and during our visit there were 438 models available to chat. Like most sites you’ll be able to select the models based on categories including body size, hair color, ethnic origins, age and fetishes such as alternative girls and bondage. The site also has a pregnant section which is a first for this reviewer and had 11 models available online. Another strength of the site was the number of tranny models available (38 were online during this review) which was probably one of the most active we have seen.

You can review the model’s profile page and get their personal information with sample pictures and videos, although you will not be able to see the videos unless you become a premium member. The site also offers a rating system where users of the site can rate the models based on their body, quality of the show, friendliness, attention to members and willingness. This will give you an overview of what other people think of the cam model at a glance and will probably help you make a decision on whether to go into a private chat with them. While viewing several profiles you can definitely see that these ratings are legit as there were some “not so complimentary” ratings.

Cam Chat Rooms

Free chat is very limited to guests and you’ll only get about 30 seconds of video before it gets timed out. The video image quality is superior to other sites but the model’s motions were quite choppy. Another surprising thing about the site was the audio quality was very sub-standard. Most model’s sound were very loud, distorted or sometimes not even working.

In order to access the free chat areas with the models without restrictions you’ll need to purchase a monthly membership that re-occurs. While there are other benefits to your monthly membership including access to a large image archive and the model videos, you are paying for something that most sites give you for free. If you want to do a private session with the models you’re still going to have to purchase tokens. This feels a lot like being double billed so keeping an active membership to WebCams can become quite expensive.

Another downside to the site is some of the models themselves. While there are definitely some gems that are very polite and accommodating the general feel of the site is a bunch of models begging for your money. While visiting the free chat area we were booted by three models because we had been chatting with them for a bit in the free area and wouldn’t go private. It wasn’t as if we had been chatting with the model for hours either. One model kicked us out of her chat room after approximately two and a half minutes.

Most of the models kept requesting for us to go private with them within seconds of entering their chat room. “Go pvt and I’ll show you” was a common response. We sampled some private chats as well and the models seemed to be dragging things along to get more money out of the members. With an average cost of $2.99 to $3.99 per minute the cost of a private chat can quickly add up. At other cam sites most models will follow your directions (ie: masturbate doggy style) while the models we ran into at WebCams seemed to want to do things at their own pace and get to your request eventually. This was definitely a disappointing reality of the site.

While the site has tons of interesting and beautiful models, it may cost you more than at other sites to get what you want. Our suggestion while visiting WebCams is to look around carefully and find some of the less pushy models on the site.
